The Hardest thing for me in Leadership

When I think about this it should be something far less complicated..

Something like . . .

Too controlling
Too demanding
Not enough support to my direct reports
Vision and Mission aren’t clear
Proper Boundaries aren’t clear
Lack of Freedom

And I could go on and on and on about what it could be. It turns out those are not it for me.

Its one thing that I just struggle and struggle with..

Leading people to lead people.

I think when I step back and I look at the majority of the people around me they struggle with the same thing. It’s not empowering them. That’s easy for a lot of folks. It is helping them work through the process of teaching someone how to teach in their own way and conveying the importance of empowering other leaders so they can accomplish more.

See we don’t want them to teach the way we would. We want them to be INTENTIONAL to teach others while empowering them to figure out how that looks for them.

It’s a tough one for me. Maybe I over think it.

If you wanted a good solution from this post . . . Sorry! I am hoping you can help me. I am still processing though it.
